Tuesday June 22 - Zurich

Arrived late into Zurich airport and caught train into town centre.  Tram to Sheraton hotel were we had a little problem with the booking.  Starwood has put the booking for May 22 not June 22.  Anyway, all fixed as Kim and Phil had the last room - a single bed room but large single.  Actually a very nice room.  Dinner at a nearby pizza place and watch some of the World Cup.

Wednesday June 23- Zurich and off to Lucerne

Early start with walk from hotel to the town centre along the lakefront.  Followed the tourist map walk to see the sights.

Back to hotel to collect back packs then tram to station for train to Lucerne.

Check into the Jailhouse hotel (converted jailhouse).  Short walk around the town with dinner by the lake watching the World Cup games.  USA won so plenty of excited Americans.  Next game was back at hotel in the courtyard sitting in bean bags and armchairs outdoors.

Friday June 25 - Jungfrau and onto Basel

Saturday June 26 - Basel
