Saturday July 31 - Maui

Interesting car hire process at Alamo.  Long queue then pick whatever car you want.  45 minute drive to Lahaina shops with a rainbow.  Shopping with a safeways card for discounts then off to Westin Resort Villas.  Not the best room position but a nice room.

Monday August 1 - Kaanapali

Walk to Black Rock, Whalers Village and Westin Hotel then shuttle back to Villas

Tuesday August 2 - Drive to Hana

Hundreds of bends over only 130 miles but it took 8 hours for the return trip to Hana and just past there.  Incredible scenery - waterfalls, cliffs, islands, black sand beach, rainforest.  So many one lane bridges and giveway signs they blur and you become oblivious to them.  Very dangerous.

Wednesday August 3 - chill out at villas

 

Thursday August 5 - To Waikiki

Early morning flight to Honolulu
