Saturday June 19 - Flight to Oslo

Orjan and Benjamin meet Kim and Phil at the airport for the hour drive to Geithus where Rogers brother (Karsten) and sister-in-law (Reidun) live.  Kim and Phil settled into the house since Karsten and Reidun where in Greece.  Dinner with Orjan (Karstens son) and his children Benjamin, Sarah and Chris.

Sunday June 20 - Drive to Tonsberg and back

Karsten and Reidun arrived early Sunday morning from Greece and was good enough to then drive Kim and Phil to Tonsberg to have with Kims cousin Ashley and the rest of his family.  Interesting lunch - potato porridge with salt and sugar.  And beautiful drive http://kart.gulesider.no/m/p1YxP

Monday June 21 - Geithus

Quick forest walk and drive around the local area where we came across a graduation celebration.  The girls wear traditional dresses.  Late dinner with the whole Sandlands family that night - this time potato dumplings.  Long day but then the sun never sets.  We were reading books without a light at midnight.

Tuesday June 22 - Oslo and Off to Zurich

Breakfast of Patetklubb (the potato dumplings now fried in butter), then a drive to where Karsten works and off to Oslo for a quick tour of the city with a stop at Vigeland - a beautiful park in the city with statues of people in all kinds of poses.

Train to Oslo airport to catch our late flight to Zurich
