Sunday July 8 - Kim and Phil hit the markets in the morning for fruit, bread, vegetables, table cloth and cooked chicken for lunch. Hit the pool, read for awhile then headed into Greve to try to find food to cook for dinner. Just about everything was closed except an amazing butcher shop. Really nice sausages for dinner along with fresh vegetables from the villa garden.
Monday July 9 - Pisa and Florence
Tuesday July 10 - Rest day and visit to the "Michelanglo" Butcher. Also visited Panzanello winery but only bought an apron
Wednesday July 11 - Siena for new dresses. Lots of doorknobs. Villamaggio winery - beautiful wine. Beautiful sunset.
Thursday July 12 - Rest morning by the pool then Greve and Radda in the afternoon.
Friday July 13 - San Gimignano. Long way there and short cut back through San Donato. Bumped into a friend of Becs, Toby Caillard, in the gelato shop and arrange to meet the family when we get to Positano.
Saturday July 14 - Early start for a long drive to Sorrento via Herculaneum and Pompeii.
