Munda Biddi Pilgrimage
Last Day - Saturday September 10: Heading Home
Must have been good wine - no hangovers, no headaches and plenty of hunger for breakfast and good coffee. A little shuffling of bags instead of cards to start the morning as we tried to spread the load among the pilgrims. JohnO and Lyndy headed to Lyndys brothers with Paul driving. Must have been quick or more direct because he beat the rest of the followers to Kings Park in Perth. At 11:15 it was a choice of breakfast or lunch. Some went one way, the others the other, before shops and a stroll in the park. The wildflowers were in full bloom at the Botanic Gardens and the view over Perth was stunning. Kim and Phil had the early flight and Paul kindly steered the mobile church without pews to the airport. The rest of the pilgrims followed on a later flight.
And that was the end of the Munda Biddi Pilgrimage. "The Church of the Holy Spoke" would be back on the steeds for regular Sunday morning services as soon as possible. And many members of "The Convent of the Purple Circle" would be back in the saddle soon too.
Great memories, great fun, good company and all home safe. Dun't git m'ch bedda th'n that Brudda.
