Munda Biddi Pilgrimage
Day 2 - Monday
September 5: Easy day – downhill to Jarrahdale
The learnings of Sunday had been consumed and addressed by
the congregation with new tyres and parts applied, sustenance consumed, and
spiritual guidance shared by the elders.
This day was a peaceful, easy day with a riding start two kilometres off
Jarrahdale road intersection of Albany Highway.
Paul had the head cam out and testing the remote control. Phil and
Kim choose to drive the vans to Jarrahdale where the Munda Biddi trail first
meets the town and then to ride back up the path to Balmoral POW Camp.
Lunch at the POW camp and then, for the very first time, the united
congregations of “Holy Spoke” and “Purple Circle” rode as one.
Sweet smooth, gentle, ride through the forests and well
groomed path back to the vans.
Comfortable and well guided trip back to the apartments to
wash, relax, pack bags, stroll on the beach and do whatever before BBQ, beer and
plenty of wine.
